Oh, television
I'm sitting here waiting for the final episode of Code Geass' first season to download on my computer. The remaining time just keeps fluctuating, and it might just give me a headache if I stare at it long enough.
I'm also waiting for the Amazing Race to premiere on CBS. But of course stupid football delayed the schedule, so 60 Minutes is going on forever, which is really just annoying.
Talking about football, on ESPN whatever show, you know the one where they have four ex-football players that think they're good enough to be show hosts. Yeah, that one. Anyway, I was watching that show, and they ask if some team overpaid some player by giving him 67.5 million dollars for over 6 years. Three out of the four said no.
WHAT. Of course they did. All football players are overpaid. All they do is run around like idiots and hit people, and they're given millions of dollars for that? Why didn't we figure out this quick way to get cash before? Why isn't everyone a football player? Becuase they have real jobs. Along with actors and other sort of "entertainers," they get more money than they deserve. Teachers deserve millions of dollars in salaries per year, because they're the ones prepping our kids for the future. They shape and mold the next President, the next major businessmen, all sorts of potential important people. But no. Where are all our tax dollars going to? Football players.
Foot.
Ball.
Players.
