Look at the puppies
I'm volunteering at the SPCA (basically the pound for those of you who are uninformed), and I get to socialize dogs and cats. There were about four cats there earlier today, and I got to hold one (I'm still in the orientation phase) and it was adorable, and then my sister, mother, and I along with another volunteer split into pairs to walk dogs around in the play areas. They're really hyperactive for the most part since they're only able to get out of their kennels about once a week because the building only has a certain number of volunteers and employees that are able to walk them.
Though, I must warn everyone, if you're going to walk into the actual kennel area, all the dogs start barking and it's a very small-ish kind of hallway thing, so you're left nearly deaf once you leave. And it's a pain getting the dogs out of their kennels, let me tell you. I had one dog escape on me. D:
