You know what this badass mother can do

I wished they had changed Kallen's name to Karen. It sounds so much more British.

Anyway, watched the first dubbed episode of Code Geass. The voices were pretty good (much better than on the trailer, thank God). I didn't hear enough of Suzaku to determine whether or not I'm disliking Yuri Lowenthal, but from what I heard it was fine. Bosch needs to step it up a little or else Lelouch is going to sound even weirder to me, but, I don't know, they did something to the trailers that made me think that Bosch was sucking it up as Lelouch. He was alright. I just don't really like Bosch in leading roles because every characters sounds way too similar for my liking. I don't know. The guy seems nice.

Oh, and Lloyd is just as kickass as usual. I forget who voices him, but I've heard the guy before.

wut

I need to stop ranting in my posts because I deviate from my main point and from what I wanted to say in the first place. This isn't real life, and I can't just run on.

But I want to.

This is why I don't want to go to Prom

Because some crazy teacher will come and stab me. D:

If you've yet to figure out what I'm babbling on about, it's Prom Night. I'm invited to go watch it Saturday night, but I've already read the synopsis on Wikipedia (because that's what I normally do concerning horror movies). Anyway, I wander over to IMDB to see what the movie weirdoes are chattering on about, and they're complaining about how the horror movie genre has degraded so much since the 70s or whatever.

Listen, the horror movies lately (even though you're really only talking about slasher films, so...) are becoming so carbon-copy-like and bad because for some reason people go and spend money on it, hopefully because they see how dumb it will be and want to laugh at the movie. Now, if people keep spending money on these kinds of movie (shown by Prom Night being the #1 movie this weekend), Hollywood is going to keep making them because THEY MAKE MONEY, AND THAT'S WHAT HOLLYWOOD WANTS.

So, please, stop complaining and don't watch these horrible movies if they're so goddamn horrible. And jesus, horror movies don't have to be filled with gore just because there's a serial killer in there, just like animated movie don't have to be targeted to children. You think you're so much better than the teenagers that you stereotypically think are the only ones going to this movie because they're scared easily, but you really aren't.

Oh, and Speed Racer looks good.
